
The Northwoods League is an NCAA-sanctioned summer league that is comprised of twelve teams that play a 68-game schedule each summer: St. Cloud, MN (River Bats); Duluth, MN (Huskies); Madison, WI (Mallards); Waterloo, IA (Bucks); La Crosse, WI (Loggers); Wisconsin (Wausau, WI -Woodchucks); Alexandria, MN (Beetles); Mankato, MN (Moon Dogs); Rochester, MN (Honkers); Thunder Bay, Canada (Border Cats); Eau Claire, WI (Express); Brainerd, MN (Blue Thunder); Green Bay, WI (Bullfrogs) and Battle Creek, MI (Bombers). In 2007 the league set a collective attendance record for the 11th straight season, as 854,629 fans were entertained with America's favorite pastime.
